MISSIONS MINISTRY

If worship is the heart of our fellowship, missions is its hands and feet. Missions is the practical application of faith that seeks to share God’s love with others. Missions starts in the heart of each believer and extends around the world. Our logo is the image of people reaching their hands around the globe with the motto, "Making a world of difference." Through missions we seek to make a difference in the world where we live by reaching out to the needy, assisting in local, national, and international ministry. We support the Mount Vernon Baptist Association in the Northern Virginia Area, the Baptist General Association of Virginia, the Southern Baptist Convention, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and the Baptist World Alliance. In addition, each church member is encouraged to engage in missions in a personal way through such programs as At Home Ministry to the aging, special benevolence projects, blood drives and other activities.
