The Youth Ministries at Ox Hill Baptist Church equip students in grades 7 – 12 to become Christian leaders by knowing Christ, living Christ, and sharing Christ. For more information about our Youth Ministries at Ox Hill, please contact Garrett Wolf.
Bible Study Groups
We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings for Bible Study beginning at 9:40 a.m., followed by Worship at 11:00 a.m. Bible Study classes are available for Grades 7-12 and offer students the chance to engage, learn, and develop in their faith with peers. From 9:40 a.m.– 10:00 a.m., all of our youth meet together to hear announcements, share prayer concerns or praises, and open our morning Bible lesson. Afterwards, our students divide into small group Bible studies, based on their current grade in school, to examine scripture and spiritual concepts more closely.
7th – 8th Grade - (Room 204)
9th – 12th Grade - (Room 208)
Youth Music Groups
Music is a vital part of our worship and fellowship at Ox Hill Baptist Church. Our youth music programs meet from 4:30 a.m.– 5:30 a.m. (Bells) and 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (choir) on Sundays, September through May. The choirs occasionally participate in worship throughout the year and have recognition services at Christmas and towards the end of the school year. Please see our Music Ministries webpage or contact our Minister of Music, Paul Brill, for more information.
On Sunday nights, September through May, students are invited to attend CrossWalk from 7:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. This is where students learn to incorporate Christ into their daily lives through Bible study, worship, mission projects, topical studies, music, discipleship, and other Christ-centered activities. Our desire is for students to develop into Christian leaders by encouraging them to embrace Christ-like attributes such as humility, integrity, confidence, and servitude. We love to have youth join us to learn more about how God can be incorporated in their lives, today and everyday. For those youth that participate in our music programs, we offer a light dinner on Sunday nights from 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. For more information about our CrossWalk Ministry, please contact Garrett Wolf.
